This year's winning commission, "In Absence" is a collaboration between Yhonnie Scarce and architecture studio Edition Office. Of all the architecture commissions that I have seen in the prior years and this year, this year's is the best. I am very confident that when the National Architecture Awards are announced a year from now, "In Absence" will be one of the winners.
"In Absence" is open daily from 10am-5pm until April next year.

With great lighting, it is time to test out the wide angle lens of the iPhone 11 which is well suited for the occasion. My first impression of the building - it seems minimalistic but once you get inside it, you will find it to be a building of two halves. From thereon in, your skills of photography will takeover. After all, photography is an art of seeing things as we capture images around us.
