One of things that NGV members can look forward to at the end of spring and summer each year is a new architect commission in the garden at the back of NGVI. Whilst it is nothing elaborate when compared to the MPavilion in the Queen Victoria Gardens, it still looks interesting.
My favourite architect commission is that of 2015 by John Wardle Architects. It looks most beautiful at night as it is most colourful as seen during White Night Melbourne.
